I love Becky's sketch and it is just so versatile.   I dont really like double page layouts that much so adapted the sketch to suit one page and to also suit me.....:-)

                                                 'BUTTERFLY PARTY'

Little Miss Evie turned 1 on saturday and her mum and dad had a butterfly party for her.   She was dressed in gorgeous fluffy pink with butterfly wings attached and the food was all to do with butterflys, butterfly cakes, cookies etc etc and butterfly sweet take home bags...So cute.....

And a close up of the personalised bottle cap that I made (which will soon be available in the shop).....

Scrap The Girls......March Challenge.....

'Kraft it up' ...... March Challenge......

This months challenge is to use the following saying in your title or in your journalling.....'There is no greater gift than today'......
I had the perfect photo of little Sophia with her mum at 3 weeks old.......I just adore the photo......xxxxxx
I have used Kraft of course, then made some hand-made rolled flowers from some scraps of kraft...I used the saying as my title and just added 'Unconditional Love' as well.    Am happy with the end result.
So here is my take on the challenge:

Hi Everyone,
Well you would all know that I decided a couple of weeks ago to open an Etsy shop.   Well it seems that it just wasnt meant to be for me and I am fine with that so have decided to open the blog again.  I recieved so many emails from followers telling me that they didnt like to shop through etsy, that it wasnt australian etc etc and even had to take some things off the blog for customers to purchase just through me.  I was happy to do this and am more than happy to stick with the blog again.  I appreciate all your friendly emails and took into consideration your thoughts and ideas .  I will leave the etsy shop open with a few items for sale but will be back in a few weeks with some old and lovely new goodies.....

Exciting News to share.....

Hi Everyone...
I just wanted to let you all know that I have finally decided to open my own 'Etsy' shop.
The shop on my blog has proven to be very popular and I just think that etsy shop will allow me to upload new products as they are produced and will actually save me a lot less in the work I put into it.  I hope you all will check it out from time to time and I look forward to seeing some familiar faces.
I think it will take me a few days to finish the uploads of new product I have BUT you should see a full shop very soon.

Lets Get Shabby ...... Challenge No 21.....

Hi Everyone,
Well I made myself a promise that I would definately attempt the challenge over at 'Lets get Shabby' this month.   I have been so very busy of late that I have missed a couple and quiet sad that I have as I simply LOVE this site.  Anyway I was true to my promise and managed to get this one done... The challenge was to use denim and lace.   
I decided to cut up an old pair of jeans that were sitting in the box of things to go to the salvo's and had it in my head just what I wanted to do.   I am not completly satisfied that its shabby enough BUT am happy with my end results.   I have used white tissue paper which I crumpled and layered to make a somewhat kind of frame for my photo. I then put layers of mod podge over this and the whole page.   I used the denim to make part of the umbrella and also the stems of the flowers.   I have used some pieces of lace and also tied a bow with a lacy piece from my mum....This is the gorgeous 'Evie' on the beach at the entrance.
