My Week.......

Well I am so sick of being sick its just not funny anymore!!!!!!!
I am hoping that a little miracle may happen when I wake in the morning and I will be completly healed again!!!!!
Anyway as all us women, mothers and wives do ...... we just seem to carry on so carry on I will.......
I have had a very eventful week....
Last monday morning very early DH and I went to Sydney...DH was driving the train and I went up for the day for some shopping therapy.....I had the best day and got some awesome bargains . I have 4 family members and a very good friend celebrating birthdays within 2 weeks of each other so got pressies for all and some great new scrapping goodies....I finally got a Zutter dreamkutz (in pink to match my Bind it all) and that is (colour) very important....It works like a dream so cutting cards out and book pages will now be so easy..I havent had much of a chance to have a play yet, but I will very soon....
I managed to get lost in the middle of Sydney which in itself was very very scary and it has turned me off the place at the moment!!!!!!

Friday I started my new job and had the bestest day.... I am going to love it I know already and came home happy in my heart.....
Friday night we had dinner with the family and a couple of Adam's best friends to celebrate his birthday which is today (sat 28th) ,hard to believe my middle one is now 25!!!!!(makes me feel old).
We had a great night with a roaring big bonfire, loads of laughter and way way tooo many drinks. (great at the time , but not so good the following day)....
I managed to do 2 layouts tonight so happy with those and will take pic's in the morning light...

On the mend.....

Well today I am finally starting to feel like my old self again, after being sick for almost a week !!! After putting it off I had a visit with the Dr and got some good old antibiotics and can feel them working there magic....

I had Lachlan for a few hours yesterday while his mum had a dentist appointment (he was good of course) and I managed to get a few nice shots while he was awake.... How cute is he ?......

My other little man is coming to stay the night tonight while his Mum and Dad go the Kangaroo's Ball (football)....We will go around about 4pm and pick him up so they are able to get ready etc.....Thank goodness he sleeps right through the night ........

Well this weekend was another great one at The Little Scrapbook Shop Cyber Crop......I love these weekends as it really gets me out of my comfort zone.....

I ended up finishing 4 challenges and hopefully will get the last one (card sketch) done tonight.....

Today I recieved a gorgeous RAK from kforkaryn for my 2 precious boys.....
She made Ryder a gorgeous 'R' decorated and also sent a cute little baby feeder....
For Lachlan she also made a gorgeous 'L' decorated and sent the cutest baby socks...
I was just stoked and when my kiddies saw what 'this kind lady' had sent they were wrapped as well....
Once again thanks heaps karyn......We all love them.....
I only wish I had taken some photos, but I will next time I see them both.....
It often amazes me how people can be so kind to others they dont even know!!!!

Progressive Day.....

Well today is very miserable......No rain , but has looked liked it might all day long and hope it finally does as we really need it here!!!!


I have quiet a few swaps on the go and have gotten a bit behind , but am happy to say that today I have got most up to date.....

Wonderful Day .....

Well no sunday sleep in's in the Oliver household.....We were all up early to go to Junee for the day with lunch with Mum and Dad.....My sister Carol and her dh from Melbourne were home along with her dd and her hubby from Newcastle, so we all got together for one of mum's famous yummy roasts. It was so good to just catch up with them all again , and they just loved seeing the 2 newest members of our family...The boys got spoilt rotten with cuddles and kisses.....
Mum did an excellent job feeding us all as there ended up being 14 of us !!!!!

First real posting...

Well I am one happy chappy today.....As some of you already know today is my last day at my current job so 'yay' no more night work for me......I am having 3 weeks off to just relax and will start a more casual job in early July. I have been working at the local private hospital for years now, but am about to start a day job again at the hospital Coffee shop...I will only work mon,wed,thur and fridays..I will be having tuesdays off to look after my 2 new grandsons when their parents return to work....I am very excited about this new stage in my life and so looking forward to the new job and getting back to normality again....

A big step for a novice.....

Well I finally took the plunge and decided to try and work out this bloggy thingy......I must say I think I am doing ok so far!!! I am hoping that as I plod along I will be able to make it look all pretty like the other girlies have , but thats just another step for me to take....Anyway will see how I go.....
