A wonderful week...

Wow I have had a great week.

Firstly little Lachlan celebrated his 2nd birthday(where the time has gone I just dont know!!)

His mum and dad made him a thomas the tank cake and they had a little party at the park for him..On the tuesday (his actual birthday) they all came out here and we had a big rubbish party with party pies, little boys and lollies and chips. He doesnt eat much 'rubbish' food but loves it when he gets it...I love his look of amazement when he saw the bowl of lollies (and no he didnt eat them all)..Please dont take any notice of the 'lolly bowl' (it would have to be the oldest one I own I am afraid and it shows!!!!!

On Sunday (anzac day) we all went to the march with the little boys which they just loved and to see them flying their little flags and waving non stop was just priceless...(pity I left the camera at home!!) In the afternoon we all (and I mean all of us) met up down town for 2 up..It was such a great day and we always meet so many 'interesting' people. I love anzac day and so does all my family and it was just lovely to spend the whole day together.. I won an amazing $500 which I was happy about...We all went back to Erin and Bens for dinner (take out) after then an early night for all...

Yesterday I drove to Wodonga in vic about an 1hr 10min drive for me to meet with Melinda at Janet's new shop...OMGoodness I was amazed at how much beautiful stock she had and such a wonderful great range. We had a lovely day just chatting, laughing and of course shopping... I did make a little dent in her shelves.....

Oh I almost forgot that a couple of weeks ago I won the 'Summer' random prize of a $50 voucher over at LSBS for completing all the challenges...I havent been shopping with it yet but have some goodies in my wish cart..Woo Hoo...

Anway just a few things to share...

This layout was done for the challenge over at Kraft it up where you had to use kraft and also do a monochromatic .. I chose reds... This is my ever beautiful mum whom I love and cherish to bits....

This is a layout that I just did as I love little Ryder's face after he has just had an ice-cream...

Dh and I are off to Melbourne on Sunday for a few days to see some shows...'Mama Mia' and 'The Jersey Boys' so looking forward to that. I will get to catch up with my sister and her dh too and stay a few nights there so cant wait for that...

Winner.......

Well this was my last entry into Nic's 'Easter Challenge' last weekend.......and to my surprise it was a winner.......(a lovely prize pack of $50. worth of goodies!!!!!) Cant wait for that......

Isnt she just the cutest!!!!!! 2 weeks old yesterday and doing great.....(wish I could say the same about her mum!!!) Erin has been in hospital for the last 3 nights as she has been having a few problems so they operated on her last night and hopefully now all will be good....She is hoping to be able to come home today as its just too hard with her still feeding little Evie......We have been helping out with Ryder as much as we can and he has been a little angel (but doesnt understand all thats going on!!!!) So anyways bring on the weekend and back to a little normality.......
Not much scrapping for me as way too busy BUT am hoping to get into the scrap room this weekend....

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE.......

Well I hope everyone is having a happy easter and eating lots and lots of that dreamy chocolate goodness!!!!!!

DH is off at work and the kids are all out for lunch so just me today!!!!! After a bit of housework (that really needs to be done) I plan to retreat to the scraproom for some therapy!!!!!:-)!!!!!

Easter bunny did find me though so very happy.....

We actually had a huge day on good friday with all the kiddies for lunch.....Yummy home-made crumbed fish and potato cakes with salad and lots and lots of hot cross buns.....We had an easter egg hunt in the garden for the little ones (a bit early I know but we wouldnt see them today!!!) and they had heaps of fun... Got some nice photos too.....

I have been doing a bit of scrapping so will share that....

Over at LSBS they are having some easter challenges with the theme being the 'Fab 4 Beatles' I so LOVE the beatles so this is right up my alley....Pleased with what I have done so far.....

This challenge was from Belle and we had to use a line from the song 'Imagine' (John Lennon)....

I chose the line 'you may say that i'm a dreamer' and used a piccy of our newest member 'Evie'......

The next challenge was from Deanne...... She chose the song 'With a little help from my friends' (Ringo Starr) and I chose the line....'I get by with a little help from my friends'...... I used a gorgeous photo of Erin and all her closest friends at a wedding in march at Hamilton Island... I love how natural the photo is.....

I also finished of the most recent challenges in the Seasoned scrapper.... This weeks challenge was to to use the theme...'summer essential' and to interpret how ever you wanted and to also use how ever much red you liked on the layout.......Love how this turned out.......

In other news my neice and her DH who live in Newcastle have just had their first baby.....A GIRL......

6 and 1/2 weeks early so only very small (just under 5lb) but doing great and should only be in a humidicrib for about another week or so......Her waters broke and then they tried to stop the labour but couldnt so in 17minutes (yest 17!!!!!) she had little 'EDIE'......So now we have an Evie and Edie who are only 2 weeks apart!!!!!!!
Anyways that is about it from me so till next time.....
