White with 1 .... March challenge.....

Exciting News to share.....

Hi Everyone...
I just wanted to let you all know that I have finally decided to open my own 'Etsy' shop.
The shop on my blog has proven to be very popular and I just think that etsy shop will allow me to upload new products as they are produced and will actually save me a lot less in the work I put into it.  I hope you all will check it out from time to time and I look forward to seeing some familiar faces.
I think it will take me a few days to finish the uploads of new product I have BUT you should see a full shop very soon.

Lets Get Shabby ...... Challenge No 21.....

Hi Everyone,
Well I made myself a promise that I would definately attempt the challenge over at 'Lets get Shabby' this month.   I have been so very busy of late that I have missed a couple and quiet sad that I have as I simply LOVE this site.  Anyway I was true to my promise and managed to get this one done... The challenge was to use denim and lace.   
I decided to cut up an old pair of jeans that were sitting in the box of things to go to the salvo's and had it in my head just what I wanted to do.   I am not completly satisfied that its shabby enough BUT am happy with my end results.   I have used white tissue paper which I crumpled and layered to make a somewhat kind of frame for my photo. I then put layers of mod podge over this and the whole page.   I used the denim to make part of the umbrella and also the stems of the flowers.   I have used some pieces of lace and also tied a bow with a lacy piece from my mum....This is the gorgeous 'Evie' on the beach at the entrance.

Layouts to share...

Hi Everyone,
Well I have had the biggest clean-up, clean-out of the scraproom over the week-end and now it looks lovely and clean and I have sorted and packed my brand new cupboard with goodness.   So because it was looking so organised last night I decided to do some layouts just for me.  First I will give you a little look at my new cupboard that hubby made for me....I love it and when I get the 2nd one I will be all set...:-)

And here are the layouts......

I used some older B/Grey p/p's and gave the sewing machine a bit of a work out....

And a close up of the sewing and also some older heidi swapp mirror butterflys that I added some rub-on's to......

I have used Kraft and some gorgeous MME p/p's.....

And a little close up of one of the polymer clay giant paper clips I make......Perfect for her name :-)

Get Picky sketch challenge February.....

Only just made it!!!!!!!
I saw this sketch at 'Get Picky' and loved it BUT then life got busy so I simply forgot :-) Anyway I managed to get it done last night and am happy with the end results......
