Just a quick update on a few thing going on around here.
The past weekend saw miss helen from LSBS set a card challenge
which was awesome fun....
The challenge was to make as many cards as you could out of 1 sheet
of cardstock and 1 sheet of P/P(you could use 1/2 sheet of 2 different
ones if you liked) and whatever embellishments you wanted.....I loved this
awesome challenge and got to make myself a stash of 7 cards....
And to top it all off I was one of the winners!!!!!!
although all that had a go at the challenge were all winners as we all now
have a great selection of cards for special people...

Update...

Hi everyone!!!!!


Yep I have to join the ranks of the slack bloggers and like the others I have no excuse except that "life just seems to get in the way"!!!!!


Anyway we had a busy busy weekend in the oliver household.....


Saturday I spent the day catching up on all the jobs around the house that I have neglected for way to long.....Got heaps done and feel much better now!!!! Saturday night I started my cards for Helen's card challenge over at LSBS....


Sunday we had little Lachlan's christening which was just lovely.....It was such a beautiful day.....


He was christened at Our lady of Fatima church by the priest who married his mum and dad(he came back to Wagga just for this event)....Afterwards we all went to a local pub for lunch and the cake......


I finished my cards on Sunday night, but have yet to load them on the LSBS site.....Will do it tomorrow when the light is good....
Well we only have 3 weeks to go till our trip to New Zealand so we have been busy getting organised for that.....Very exciting I tell you !!!!!!

The bestest weekend!!!!!

OMGoodness.......What an awesome weekend I have just experienced with all the girls at the LSBS Retreat which was held at Merroo in Sydney....
It all started on the thursday night for me when I went to meet Jen (spikeyjen) down the road from home so she could spend the night with us before we headed to Sydney friday morning....
We left Wagga Wagga about 9am friday morning and after a yummy morning tea at young followed by a great lunch at Bathurst, we finally arrived at Merroo around 4ish....Jen was awesome company on the trip up and we never even turned the radio or cd on as we just chatted and really got to know each other....She will be a good friend forever......
Arriving at the retreat it was lovely to catch up with Cath and Nic again and of course all of the awesome girls.....especially the 7 beautiful ladies I was so lucky to spend the weekend with.....Jen, Helen,Shann,Lisa,Relsi,Bon and Kerryn.....All such an awesome group of ladies.....Loved them all....
The rest of the weekend went soooooo fast with awesome challenge kits to complete and the bestest ever classes from our very talented DT members Lisa and Belle.....
I managed to complete Lisa's album which I just love and 2 of the challenge kits....
Other than that I just enjoyed some awesome company and for me the highlight would have to be the PJ parade...What a great belly laugh that was.....
It was sad to leave on the Sunday, but as all good wives and mothers would do we all headed home to the reality of life with our families.....
A top weekend that I will never ever forget and to the most wonderful new friends in the whole world...
Will upload some of the creations I finished soon.....

Wonderful Day ......

No sleep in's for us today as we were all up early to go to Junee for lunch.
My sister Carol and her dh were up for the weekend from Melbourne and her dd Rachel and hubby were down from Newcastle , so we all went over to Mum and Dad's for lunch...
Mum's lunch was yummy as always and we all came home stuffed....
It was lovely to all catch up and the 2 little ones Ryder and Lachlan were spoilt with lots of kisses and cuddles....
Great day....and hopefully will get some scrapping done this afternoon....

I have been a very slack blogger........BUT I just seem to have 100 things to do and no time in which to do them all....Anyway thought I should do a bit of catching up.....At LSBS I was involved in the secret squirrel swap and my parcel arrived last week ........ This is a photo of my very special pressie from my very special secret raker (lisap)......
I love this parcel of goodies so much and it was just such a lovely surprise.....I dont normally use these colours, but have fallen in love with them all and I cant wait to make something extra special. I am thinking I may even take the lot to the retreat and work on it there.....

I am trying hard to get organised for the trip to Sydney for LSBS retreat next week...I have a heap of things to finish off and lots to get organised. I did make a start on my ATC cards and just need the TIME to get stuck in and finish them off...The idea is in my head for the name tag....

I went to the movies last night with dd Erin , dd Ashley and dil Jody last night to see Mamma Mia again.....I loved it just as much and laughed just as hard......I am so going to buy this when it comes out on dvd...

I had my 2 favourite boys for the day yesterday also which was fun , but ohhhh so tiring..(must be getting old I think)...They were both good though, just so full on....Loved all the cuddles !!!!!

I have such a busy weekend coming up. On friday afternoon I am off to the Craft Alive show here in Wagga Wagga with my spesh friend Sandra....We go every year and every year we both walk out with a s$$t load of stuff!!!!! Just cant help ourselves...

On Saturday morning there are 5 of us going to all the garage sales...I have never been before, but excited that maybe I will find some treasures and lots of bargains......At lunch time I am off to get a haircut...Saturday night the 5 of us are all catching up for a scrapping marathon which is always such fun.......

Bring on the weekend and more importantly bring on the following weekend so I am able to catch up with some very very special friends....

A great day !!!!!!

A great day today with lots of happy mail!!!!
I awoke this morning to 2 lovely rak's in my mail...
The first one was from the lovely Alison....She sent me a little atc size countdown calendar (for the retreat) and some great Kaiser bling in orange which I didnt have!......Thanks so much Ali , it made my day.....
Secondly the gorgeous Carol (honeywine) sent me a rak for the christmas in July which included a yummy recipe card and a bag full of awesome chrissy bits and pieces.....I love it so much......Thanks Carol.....
I am so looking forward to this years retreat as it just feels like I know everyone so much better.......Bring it on I say!!!!!
I am hoping tomorrow that I can get all the jobs done for the retreat....like the atc cards and the name tag.....I also hope to get into town and buy some new PJ's!!!!!!

Shell , Di and I went to the movies tonight to see Mama Mia......It was awesome so if anyone needs a good belly laugh then you must go!!!!! Loved it so much that I am going again next week with the dd's.....

A great weekend.....

Another great week-end at LSBS Cybercrop......I got three layouts completed and a card so pretty happy with myself.....Have uploaded 2 layouts I finished and for some reason cant upload the others......

Had a really nice day today.....Mum and Dad came over for lunch as well as my brother sil and two of their gorgeous grandchildren......It was great to catch up with them all again .Erin and Ryder also came and Lachie was here as I was babysitting him.....
